So we are trying something new! We are taking a sneaker each month and adding value to it! Value that the brands haven’t even added yet. This month, it is the Jordan 1 Patent Bred. Released at the very end of December and additional releases this month, this sneaker has been a must have for everyone. The super @Rae_thebside gave us her thoughts and some food suggestions inspired by this release.
The Air Jordan 1 silhouette could be debated as a closet staple, similar to a solid pair of driving moccasins and a good rain coat. The red and black color-way lends to so many possibilities for a fit; tennis skirt, rowing blazers, or a crop top with a black bomber jacket. They also make me think of decadent meals— Pasta Bolognese, Lobster Ravioli in a Vodka Sauce. I would definitely wear them on a first date to let my suitor know I like what I like and I like fly sh@$.
In Baltimore? These sneakers make me want to dine for Pasta at Amici’s and grab a Manhattan from Rye Street Tavern.
