So, Under Armour, the underdog Baltimore based shoe company is taking a step from the Nike playbook early, and using their signature athlete to launch an athletic wear sub-brand. The Curry brand they hope will be a successful extension like the Jordan brand is for Nike. It seems blasphemous for us in the states, but we have to remember that the UA brand is larger worldwide and this could be a solid growth area for the company. With this, we get the 8th Steph Curry signature sneaker, called the “Flow 8” that is debuting. The design is pared back and pretty simple, trying to represent smoothness and quickness, or Flow.
