The title of this post says a lot if you’re in the know. But there are a lot of budding SneakHer Heads who might wonder what makes this New Balance X-Racer special. Well, this particular pair with be released by Japanese boutique Atmos and it features design inspiration from Jeff Staple whose iconic Nike Dunk “Pigeon” has long been one of the holy grails for sneaker collectors. This X Racer features a muted pink and white rear to midpanel design with the trademark pigeon just chilling on the outer heel. However, in an ode to Japan, the other side features a crow, which are everywhere in Japan as pigeons are in NY. They release in Japan at the end of the week with no stateside date set yet.
