How do you get sexy? Well, what makes you feel sexy? What do you do to feel sexy? I was asked all of these questions at random by a friend in a room of people and I had NO answer. I have stated before that I know I am just as sexy as the woman who enters the room in her heels when I have on sneakers. I think my confidence and me just being who I am and not attempting to compete is sexy. But what about in the actual bedroom?
I had to think and think. Having sex in your sneakers or barefoot is one thing, but feeling sexy while having sex or getting ready to have sex is a different beast. I get so stuck in my head about the things that I don’t like about me that I honesty don’t know that level of sexy without alcohol. Two shots of tequila and right before fatigue starts to invade I am out of my head. But without the alcohol, who am I? I have been racking my brain to answer those questions.
I know that there are elements about me that can be sexy individually or that can look sexy or can be added to enhance my sexy. I know that the fullness of my lips or fullness of my breast are pieces that can enhance the appearance of sexy. For me, I can throw on red lipstick or a gloss to attract extra attention to my lips. I can either let my hair fall down my back or pull it up but leave it a bit messy so that pieces of my hair cascade down my face. I know that I have some sneakers that I think are sexy and look nice with my foot pointed. But getting to the mental state of being sexy is going to be something that I make a priority of mine.
I was told to get in the mirror and touch yourself. I was told to buy some sexy lingerie. But for me those would be a temporary fix just like alcohol. Today my journey will start–I will learn to get out of my own head and stop hindering myself. As I put my thoughts out there for the world, I just realized that me truly feeling sexy during sex can open up a different level of pleasure. Probably one that I never knew existed but now anxious to go and discover it. Join me, let’s go discover our sexy.
